Join the VicRoads Club Permit Scheme

If you own a vehicle that’s 25 years or older and you plan to drive it fewer than 90 days a year, you can join our club and enjoy savings on registration through the VicRoads Club Permit Scheme. To be eligible, we ask that you attend at least two of our events within six months. Learn more about the scheme here.

Caffeine & Gasoline is held on the 3rd Sunday of every month at the Federal Mills precinct in North Geelong. All makes and models are welcome — from classics and muscle cars to modern, modified, bikes, and everything in between. Whether you want to show your pride and joy or just come for a look, everyone is invited. Grab a coffee, enjoy breakfast from one of the on-site cafés, browse the vintage markets, and spend the morning talking cars with fellow enthusiasts in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. This event is proudly run by Geelong Motoring Enthusiasts Inc. under the Caffeine & Gasoline name. Members of the club committee will be in attendance at each event, so feel free to come and say hello if you would like to learn more about the club, our cruises, and upcoming events. Join Geelong Motoring Enthusiasts for a scenic Sunday drive around the Bellarine as we cruise from Caffeine & Gasoline to one of the region’s great wineries, Hounds of the Vine. We’ll kick things off at Caffeine & Gasoline, Federal Mills, North Geelong, before departing at approximately 10:30am. From there we’ll take the long way around, enjoying some of the Bellarine’s best driving roads through: Barwon Heads → Ocean Grove → Marcus Hill → Point Lonsdale → St Leonards → Indented Head → Portarlington → Hounds of the Vine The route covers approximately 73km and is expected to take around 1 hour 30 minutes, arriving at Hounds of the Vinearound 12:00pm, where we’ll settle in for lunch, a wine tasting, or simply relax and enjoy the vineyard atmosphere. Whether you’re bringing your pride and joy, daily driver, or something in between, everyone is welcome. This is a relaxed cruise designed to enjoy great roads, good company, and finish with excellent food and wine. Meeting Point: Caffeine & Gasoline, Federal Mills, North Geelong Arrival: From 9:30am (during Caffeine & Gasoline) Cruise Briefing: 10:20am Departure: 10:30am sharp Destination: Hounds of the Vine ETA: Approximately 12:00pm Please ensure your vehicle is fuelled before departure, obey all road rules, and remember this is a social cruise—not a race.
