Once we arrive, we’ll kick back, enjoy some great food and drinks (responsibly, of course! 🍻🚗), and soak in the awesome atmosphere. This is a casual, friendly cruise – all cars welcome! Whether you're a regular or a first-timer, come along for a great day out with fellow car lovers. Join us on the 31st of January as the sun sets and we enter into Summer Fever mode.  Dust the cobwebs off the show car, street machine, or even the jalopy and roll into Autobarn Waurn Ponds for Autobarn Summer Fever!  Sausage Sizzle run by the club on the night (profits are returned to the club to assist with future events)  Geelong Motoring Enthusiasts Inc Members will get 20% off on floor stock (Excludes Gift Cards and Labour and already discounted stock) Just show your membership card at the counter! Another fundraising event - Geelong Hospital Childrens Ward (Toys), Barwon Health Foundation (Funding) In 10 years we have raised more than 20k, it would be great to continue this. It will be held at the Waurn ponds Homemaker centre (Bunnings, JB Hifi, etc) It's right at the end of the Geelong bypass so it will be a much easier drive for people coming from Melbourne. Turn in at the set of lights just after JB-HIFI. Our stickers will be on sale, funds raised from this helps cover ongoing costs like insurances and obtaining permits etc. *IMPORTANT INFORMATION* We can't stress enough that the behaviour of all people attending is paramount if we want these events to run in future. Bunnings and the police have gotten behind us again and are happy for FWY to take place as long as we follow these simple rules: -NO HOONING BEHAVIOUR Excessive engine noise, Skids, dangerous driving will not be tolerated. -NO drugs or alcohol to be consumed -NO fighting or abusive language -Follow all directions given by traffic wardens we need to make sure traffic flows in and out smoothly. Also please try and take your rubbish with you if you can't find a bin! There will be a police presence on the night. Not to hand out defects but to make sure people are following these rules.
